Wind out of the south, small craft warnings. We’re sitting tight today. Wind is forecast to switch around to the north tonight, and we may start off to do a night run to the Detroit River later today. Doing laundry, small chores, and chillin’.
Found out the chargers with my new portable VHF were not the ones that were supposed to be with the unit. They would not plug into the base station. However, a call to Standard Horizon fixed that; the guy there said he’d drop ship new ac and 12-V adapters to Alex’s address in Ithaca. That’s what I call service!
Oh, and all the Civil War activities of yesterday were moved to the local museum. We were working pulling a new coax cable through Pleiades right up till the Wings game, so no chance to partake and report. Eve and I went to Uri's for the game and shared a great Chicken Portabello Pizza.
Dave, This is Deb Charlesworth parents, Linda and Carl. You are heading down to our area, in Saint Clair Shores. If you get down our way, maybe you can give us a call, we would love to see you for dinner. Maybe you could contact Deb and Paul for our number. Hate to post it on a blog for the whole world to see. Hope you get better weather, right now we have winds with rain predicted for tomorrow.
